The operations of Laboratorios MIXIM take place in the State of Mexico, Chiapas and Baja California. The main plant is located in Naucalpan, in the metropolitan area of Mexico City, housing the general headquarters, the research area, the quality control lab and the extraction plant.

Manufacturing operations include equipments designed for grinding, toasting, extracting, distilling, evaporating and drying. The key of our capacity is the large range of available equipment, carefully selected to obtain the unique characteristics of the products we manufacture and to avoid the undesireable consequences of overprocessing.

Operations in Chiapas, in Metapa de Domínguez, mainly involve the growing, harvesting, drying and grinding of Turmeric Root (Curcuma longa) as well as its genetic improvement.

We are also actively involved in projects for the crop of Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Golden Shower tree (Cassia fistula), Centella (Centella asiatica) and Aloe vera (Aloe vera), among others.

Near Ensenada, Baja California, in the Valley of Guadalupe, we grow Algarrobo or Carob Tree (Ceratonia siliqua), which fruit contains a seed used for the production of Algarrobo gum; the dry fruit is employed for the production of flavor extracts (St. John’s bread). This project has contributed to the prevention of soil erosion in the area, transforming the desert into semi-desert, and providing work in an area characterized by unemployment during the dry season.
