The Quality Control Laboratory is in charge of the analysis of raw materials and finished products to verify that they comply with established quality standards.
In the first stage, raw materials are analyzed according
to a control list, starting with the botanical
identification, following the physical-chemical
analysis and the evaluation of their active principles.
Finished products have to be subjected to physical-chemical and microbiological analysis, required for its standardization.
These analytical works require trained professional staff and modern analysis equipment, as well as knowledge in botany, analytical chemistry, phytochemistry, different chromatographic techniques and microbiology.
